The Oz Noy Trio will perform at M/House of Jazz with a new program as part of their European tour. Project leader Oz Noy is an internationally renowned jazz guitarist who works in the field of contemporary instrumental music, using stylistic elements of jazz, funk, rock, blues and R&B with a distinct groove orientation.
Since moving to New York in 1996, Oz Noy has established a solid international reputation as a solo artist and session musician. He has collaborated with artists such as Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Jimmy Haslip, Will Lee, Mike Stern, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Johnson, Gavin DeGraw, and Toni Braxton. Oz Noy is regularly featured in professional music media (DownBeat, Guitar Player, JazzTimes) and is considered one of the most important contemporary jazz/fusion guitarists.
