Clapper in Riga with fresh energy and a new album! A quartet from Aarhus, Denmark, whose repertoire combines elements of classic fusion jazz, soul, instrumental hiphop and future beats, creating a lively, modern and rhythmic sound. They have participated in festivals and concerts, including Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Vinterjazz, Skagen concerts and as guests at several modern jazz events.Band line-up:Jeppe Lavsen (guitar)Adrian Christensen (bass)Frederik Emil Bülow (drums)Malthe Jepsen (keyboards)
This summer, the band releases their second album "Under The Radar", released in collaboration with Super Bad Disco and HHV.The album, recorded live at the Radar Club in 2024, offers completely new material, with one exception – a reworked composition from their debut album "On Tempo" (2023). This time, Clapper touches even more on the contemporary sound of Detroit and London, while maintaining the foundation of classic fusion jazz.
