LINDA ŠTERNA & LINDA VILKA “RĪTDIENAS PIENĀCA”

"Rītdienas pienāca" ir gan izstāde, gan dzīves atklāsme, kurā savienojas teksts un vizuālās kompozīcijas, nodrošinot dziļu ieskatu mūsu personīgajā attīstībā un meklējot, kādu lomu tā ieņem attiecībās ar citiem un pasauli. Tekstuāli un vizuāli sapludināta refleksija par to, kā individuālās attiecību veidošanas iestrādnes formē mūs dažādos laika griezumos. Kā šīs iestrādnes formē mūsu personīgo attīstību, mūsu partnera attīstību un mūsu pēcnācēju kolerāciju ar pasauli. Lindas Šternas apcerējums par attiecībām, kuras pārtop par disfunkcionālām gan ar sevi, gan ar partneri, par pārmaiņām un pašatjaunošanos tiek papildināts ar Lindas Vilkas vizuālo interpretāciju, radot vienotu, saistošu un pašanalīzes iekļaujošu naratīvu. ”Rītdienas pienāca” aicina reflektēt par to, kā tuvākās attiecības formē mūsu dzīvi un identitāti, sniedzot gan izaicinājumus, gan iespējas personiskajai izaugsmei vai destrukcijai. Apmeklētāji tiek iedrošināti apstāties, padomāt un atrast jaunus veidus, kā izprast un risināt savas attiecības, kā arī meklēt ceļus uz savas personīgās labklājības pilnveidošanu.

Fragments no apcerējuma “Rītdienas pienāca”: “Tās stari uzturējās virtuvē tieši, kā ierasts ― nedaudz pāri 20 minūtēm, starp desmitiem un vienpadsmitiem. Bija augusts. Izstāde norisināsies sadarbībā ar literatūras un filozofijas žurnālu “Punctum”, dodot iespēju izstādes atklāšanas vakarā par ziedojumiem iegādāties krājumu “Neviens tev neticēs”, ziedojumus novirzot centram “MARTA”.

Linda Šterna (1999) ir rakstniece ar specializāciju dramaturğijā un scenāriju rakstīšanā. Ieguvusi bakalaura grādu Latvijas Kultūras akadēmijas Drāmas un teksta studijās, kā arī piedalījusies vasaras skolas “International Summer School of Documentary Theatre” meistarklasēs Prāgā. Asistējusi starptautiskajā projektā “ROTKHO” (L.Twarkowski, Dailes teātris), asistējusi jauniešu seriālā “Jaunais norm” (A.Viegliņš, Go3), rakstījusi dramaturģiju XXVII Vispārējo latviešu Dziesmu un XVII Deju svētku kokļu mūzikas lielkoncerta “Laika upe” (S.Kalniņš, LNKC) un piedalījusies citos projektos. Pievēršas laikmeta fiksēšanai caur cilvēku psihes šķetināšanu un to realizē, jaucot robežas starp dažādiem mākslas žanriem un fiziskām vai abstraktām telpām. Pašlaik studē Liepājas universitātes Rakstniecības studiju maģistrantūrā.

Linda Vilka (1995) ir multidisciplināra māksliniece un stāstu veidotāja, kura mākslas izglītību apguvusi Latvijā, Lietuvā, Nīderlandē un turpina studijas LMA profesionālajā doktorantūrā. Māksliniece strādā ar emocionālo sabiezējumu šķetināšanu un atmiņas fiksāciju, bieži pastiprinātu uzmanību veltot lauku teritorijām un tur sastopamajiem stāstiem. Līdz šim sev nozīmīgākie projekti radīti par dzimto Tārgales pagasta pusi, kur ienesti kopienas mākslas un vides kūrēšanas aspekti laikmetīgās mākslas pieejamības vairošanai, kā arī ierastās lauku rutīnas nojaukšanai. Savus novērojumus Linda Vilka izklāsta instalācijās, gleznās, video darbos un performatīvās darbībās publiskajā vidē, tam visam cauri vijot tekstuālo formu – abstraktas un reizēm visai absurdas frāzes un rindas, kuras visbiežāk fiksētas no apkārtējās vides, cilvēkiem un izdzīvotajām situācijām.

LINDA ŠTERNA & LINDA VILKA "THE TOMORROWS ARRIVED"

"The Tomorrows arrived" is both an exhibition and a revelation of life, where text and visual compositions come together, providing a deep insight into each other's personal development and exploring the role it plays in our relationships with others and the world. A textual and visually blended reflection on how the elements of individual relationship-building shape us in different time frames. How these elements shape our personal development, our partner's development, and our descendants' interaction with the world. Linda Šterna's essay on relationships, which transform into dysfunctional ones both towards oneself and towards the partner, on changes and self-renewal, is complemented by Linda Vilka's visual interpretation, creating a unified, compelling, and self-reflective narrative. "The Tomorrows arrived" invites reflection on how close relationships shape our lives and identity, offering both challenges and opportunities for personal growth or destruction. Visitors are encouraged to stop, think, and find new ways to understand and resolve their relationships, as well as to seek paths to improve their personal well-being.

Excerpt from the contemplation "The Tomorrows arrived": "Its rays lingered in the kitchen just as usual – a little over 20 minutes, between ten and eleven. It was August. Everything was the same, except that nothing was the same. The daffodils he had given were withered on the table. A salty aftertaste of the sea in my mouth. It happened yesterday." The exhibition will be held in collaboration with the literature and philosophy magazine "Punctum", giving the opportunity to buy the collection "Nobody Will Believe You" on the opening night, with donations going to the Resource Center for Women “Marta”. The exhibition is open from April 25th to May 25th ____ Linda Sterna (1999) is a writer specializing in playwriting and screenwriting. She holds a BA in Drama and Textual Studies from the Latvian Academy of Culture and has participated in the master classes of the “International Summer School of Documentary Theatre” in Prague. She assisted in the international project “ROTKHO” (L.Twarkowski, Dailes teātris), assisted in the youth TV series "Jaunais norm" (A.Viegliņš, Go3), wrote dramaturgy for the XXVII Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival concert "Laika upe" (S.Kalniņš, LNKC) and participated in other projects. She focuses on capturing an era through unraveling the human psyche, and does so by blurring the boundaries between different artistic genres and physical or abstract spaces. Currently she is studying at the Master's programme in Writing Studies at the University of Liepaja.

Linda Vilka (1995) is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller who has received her art education in Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and continues her studies in the professional doctoral programme at the Academy of Fine Arts. She works with the unraveling of emotional thickenings and the fixation of memory, often focusing on rural areas and the stories that can be found there. Her most significant projects to date have been created in her native Targale parish, where she has brought in aspects of community art and environmental curation to increase the accessibility of contemporary art, as well as to disrupt the usual rural routine. Linda Vilka presents her observations in installations, paintings, video works and performative actions in the public environment, weaving through it all a textual form - abstract and sometimes quite absurd phrases and lines, most often recorded from the surrounding environment, people and lived situations.
