A Tribute to Astrud & João Gilberto by Kristīne Cīrule & Kārlis Mangulsons

A warm, summery tribute to Brazilian bossa nova legends Astrud and João Gilberto. This music once took over the whole world with its tenderness. The evening’s special guest at the House of Jazz is Kristīne Cīrule, one of Latvia’s most expressive jazz vocalists, who will bring to life such popular songs as “The Girl from Ipanema,” “Desafinado,” and others.
