About the Event
Guitarist and composer Tomas Janzon was born in Sweden and lives and works in the US. His musical style is rooted in the post-bop tradition, with a repertoire that includes both original compositions and jazz standards. Janzon regularly performs in a trio with local rhythm section musicians.
His latest album, Nomadic (CM115), was released in 2023 and received positive reviews from NYC Jazz Record, Jazz Monthly, Jersey Jazz, and Vintage Guitar. His previous album, 130th & Lenox, was recognized as one of the best jazz recordings of 2020.
