About the Event
On February 14, M/House of Jazz invites you to a Valentine's Day concert, Romance & Jazz, an evening filled with romantic jazz classics and contemporary interpretations in an intimate setting.
The program will feature jazz classics, including "Black Coffee" (Sarah Vaughan) and "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" (Ella Fitzgerald) – songs that are both tender and full of character. Alongside these, the concert will also feature more contemporary colors, bringing a light soul mood and dynamic interplay to the repertoire.
The band was formed by drummer Oskars Nejs, bringing together vocalist Anna Ozoliņa, pianist Beata Estere Mačtama, and bassist Nils Valkiainen. The band is united by a common vision – to create a restrained, beautiful, and slightly melancholic sound in a free, elegant atmosphere.
