No Name Jazz Fellas is both an artistic phenomenon and a social idea that ironically comments on the modern cult of fame in the music industry and social networks. Although the band's name expresses a deliberate "anti-fame" philosophy, the trio is well known in Lithuania and is gradually strengthening its presence in the international jazz scene.

The trio's leader, Dmitrij Golovanov, is one of the most influential figures in contemporary Lithuanian jazz music — a pianist, teacher, and winner of several international awards with more than 20 years of stage experience, having performed at festivals such as Pori Jazz, Cairo Jazz, London Jazz, and Jazz Jamboree.
