About the Event
On February 25, the Christos Yerolatsitis Quartet, an international ensemble bringing together musicians from Cyprus, Latvia, and Canada, will perform the opening set for the JAZZ JAM evening at M/House of Jazz. The quartet will perform a program combining original music by composer Christos Yerolatsitis with jazz standards.
Christos Yerolatsitis (CY) is a Cyprus-born pianist and composer who is active in the international jazz scene. The quartet also features Latvian saxophonist Toms Rudzinskis (LV), Canadian double bassist Andrew Downing (CA) and drummer Artis Orubs (LV) - all experienced musicians with extensive concert experience in Europe and beyond.
The evening will begin with a concert by the quartet, followed by an open jam session, to which other musicians and jazz enthusiasts, as well as the audience, are invited to participate.
