About the Event
On Saturdays in March - 7, 21.03. and 28.03. – we invite children and young people (and adults too!) to a new Saturday tradition, “Children’s Jazz”, which offers children the opportunity to get to know jazz in an authentic, cozy and child-friendly environment. During the concerts, children will be able to listen to live jazz music and learn about jazz in an understandable and engaging way.
Tickets:
€30 – child (up to 12 years old) + one accompanying adult
€20 – separate ticket for a child or adult
The March program will be created by Dāvis Jurka – musician and director of the Latvian Radio Big Band, member of the band LUPA, as well as leader of the JVLMA/RDKS Big Band.The concerts will feature a brief journey through the history of jazz, creative experiments, and new compositions created specifically for a children's audience.
