30. augustā plkst. 19:00 M/House of Jazz notiks īpašs koncerts “Tribute to Beatnik Poets”, kurā dziedātāja Aija Vītoliņa godinās bītņiku paaudzes radošo garu.
Bītņiku kustība, kas aizsākās 20. gadsimta vidū, bija literāri un sociāli nozīmīgs pavērsiens, kurā dominēja brīvība, meklējumi un izaicinājums sabiedrības normām. Tās iedvesmotāji — Džeks Keruaks, Alens Ginsbergs, Viljams S. Burroughs un citi — ar savu dzeju un dzīvesveidu atvēra durvis jaunam skatījumam uz cilvēka būtību, mākslu un iekšējo brīvību.Aijas Vītoliņas koncertprogramma iedzīvinās šīs idejas mūzikā, savienojot dzeju, džezu un improvizāciju laikmetīgā interpretācijā.
