[eng] Gregory Mulkern is an original international touring/recording musician recognized for forging new ground for the iconic 5-string banjo through his electrifying solo act, Banjolectric. On the heels of the act's first European tour, Banjolectric's debut album "So Below" was featured in PopMatter’s “The 20 Best Folk Albums of 2018” questioning the limits of what we call “Americana.” On the heels of a six-week American support tour, Banjolectric’s base of operation moved from the US to Europe in 2022 to be closer to Mulkern’s indie-Americana project 2Frontiers but Banjolectric will maintain a US national tour schedule in addition to dates in Europe.
